JPMorgan Chase has executed its first tokenized U.S. Treasury transaction on a public blockchain, collaborating with ONDO and Chainlink. The operation involved converting a tokenized U.S. Treasuries Fund (OUSG) on Ondo’s testnet into a payment processed through JPMorgan’s private blockchain, Kinexys.
Chainlink’s technology acted as the essential bridge between the systems, with its Runtime Environment enabling seamless interoperability. This achievement represents JPMorgan’s initial direct integration of its internal blockchain platform with a public network, highlighting increasing institutional adoption of decentralized infrastructure.
